Tips for departing from the HKUST campus:

The HKUST has two gates - the northern gate and the southern gate. There is a bus station at each gate, and you can find buses there to get to the Mass Transit Railway (MTR) stations.

You can find bus 91M and 11 at the southern gate. They can take you to Choi Hung MTR station. If you want to visit any places in Kowloon, Choi Hung station is the right starting point.

You can also find bus 91M and 11 at the northern gate. They have different routes from those in the southern gate. They can take you to Hang Hau MTR station. If you want to visit any places on the Hong Kong Island, Hang Hau station is the right starting point.
